France is of Pakistani descent and is one of the first openly gay South Asian men on a popular television series. Tan and his husband, Rob, live in Salt Lake City, Utah, and married twice. They have one child through surrogacy.

Bobby Berk

Bobby Berk stars in the Netflix series Queer Eye as the interior design expert and is also an Emmy-winning television host and author. Berk struggled growing up in the Bible Belt as a child, where he was exposed to homophobia. Berk left home at fifteen and struggled to find his way. Eventually, things began to look up for Berk, and he met his future husband in 2003. Berk and his husband, Dewey Do, moved to Los Angeles together in 2018.

Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and actor. His music was wildly popular during the late 90s and early 00s, and he’s frequently referred to as the “King of Latin Music” and the “Latin Pop God.” Martin struggled with his sexuality over the years and mainly dated women. However, he publically came out in 2010 and said in a video message on his website, “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.” Martin married Syrian-Swedish painter Jwan Yosef in 2018.

Kevin McHale

Kevin McHale is an American singer, dancer, and actor who is best known for his role in Glee. McHale came out as gay through a tweet in 2018 and received widespread support from fans, coworkers, and admirers. He has been in a relationship with Austin P. McKenzie since 2016. The couple met on the set of When We Rise and continue to stand strong together today.

Niecy Nash

Niecy Nash, also known as Carol Denise Betts, began her career in the late 1990s. She’s an American actress, comedian, and television host who’s best known for her roles in Scream Queens and Claws. Nash was married to a man for 13 years and had two children with him. In August 2022, Nash married singer Jessica Betts. Nash has never formally come out and chooses not to label her sexuality.

Connor Jessup

Connor Jessup is a Canadian writer, actor, and director. He’s best known for his roles in Falling Skies, American Crime, and Locke & Key. Jessup publically came out as gay on an Instagram post in 2019. He and his boyfriend, Miles Heizer, began dating the same year. As of 2023, the couple is still together and frequently posts adorable selfies on social media.

Everyone knows RuPaul for his hit reality drama tv series RuPaul’s Drag Race. This tv series began in 2009 and went on to produce 15 seasons in the United States. RuPaul received several accolades for his work with this show, including 12 Primetime Emmy Awards! RuPaul met his partner, Georges LeBar, in a nightclub in 1994.

Heather Matarazzo is easily recognized by fans of The Princess Diaries series, but she’s also starred in several other high-profile films, including The Devil’s Advocate, Scream 3, and Hostel 2. Matarazzo came out in an article in the New York Daily News in 2004. The actress had a few public relationships with women before she found her soulmate. Matarazzo married Heather Turman in 2018.
