While we always focus on the heroes of comics and movies, the villains definitely lead to the fantastic challenges that make for a more exciting plot. Here are some of the top villains from the MCU.
Red Skull
The Nazi, Johann Schmidt, is a close confidant of Adolf Hilter. His mind has basically been implanted in a clone body of Captain America with all of his abilities from the super serum. He’s out to wreak havoc and genocide on the free world.
Dormammu
He’s a guy from the dark dimension who has a high level of mystic combat that wanted to slowly weaken the sorcerer, Karl Amadeus Mordo, but Dr. Strange was not having that. With energy projection, matter manipulation, teleportation, and more powers, he’s one of the major threats to the universe.
Loki
In the movies, Loki is Thor’s adopted brother. He ends up betraying Asgard and wanted to take out Thor to rule as king. He’s quite powerful having Asgardian powers from astral projection to telepathy.
Thanos
Stemmed from a group called The Eternals with some Titan genes, Thanos is an adversary like none other. He first appeared in Iron Man, but he’s a tie in to all of the Avengers world. He’s masterful tactics, superhuman strength, durability, and access to some of the most powerful artifacts to enhance his abilities.
Killmonger
Born under the name N’Jadaka, his family was exiled from Wakanda. He relocated to Harlem, New York where he began later in life plotting to seek revenge and to turn Wakanda back into more of its ancient ways. He rivaled Black Panther with his enhanced, strength, and durability. Additionally, he’s a good hunter. He can’t get the ancient powers through the heart-shaped herb because he’s not a part of the royal bloodline.
