Drew Carey – From Polydactyly to Extraordinary
Drew Carey revealed in his autobiography that he was born with polydactyly, which means he had 11 toes. However, he underwent surgery to remove the extra toe on his right foot. Polydactyly, having extra digits on the hands or feet, is one of the most common birth defects. Although Drew could have easily concealed the extra toe with appropriate footwear, he chose to have it removed. His decision highlights the desire for simplicity and his willingness to embrace his unique feature while opting for a more typical digit count.
