The Risks Involved
The health risks associated with carrying high-order multiples took a toll on Bobbi and her unborn babies. The doctor advised the couple to consider a difficult decision – selective reduction. This process involves protecting the fetuses with the best chances of survival by reducing the number of fetuses in the womb. Essentially, it involves terminating the fetuses with lower chances of survival. Though it was a heartbreaking decision, Bobbi and her husband ultimately decided against selective reduction, viewing all seven of their babies as precious blessings deserving of life.
