According to Los Angeles officials, a power outage at Universal Studios Hollywood left almost a dozen individuals stuck on a ride until technicians arrived to rescue them.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, emergency workers were sent to the park’s Transformers attraction about 3:45 p.m. Thursday after 11 passengers were stranded on the indoor ride.
The riders were released by 6 p.m., according to supervisory dispatcher Bernard Peters. There were no injuries recorded.
Due to a “power disruption” from the utility Southern California Edison, a spokeswoman for Universal Studios Hollywood stated the park had a “short power drop that resulted in evacuating people from various attractions.”
According to the announcement, power has been entirely restored.
