A man charged with four misdemeanors in connection with an assault on comedian Dave Chappelle during a concert at the Hollywood Bowl pleaded not guilty on Friday.

Isaiah Lee, 23, pleaded not guilty to counts of violence, assault with a dangerous weapon, illegally crossing from a spectator section onto a stage at a theatrical performance, and interfering with or delaying such an event by unlawful behavior in a Los Angeles courthouse.

Lee, who is still in custody, was ordered to keep a distance of at least 100 yards (91 meters) from Chappelle, whose lawyer requested the protection order during the court.

Lee was arrested Tuesday night after storming the stage during Chappelle’s show at the Hollywood Bowl as part of the “Netflix Is a Joke” comedy festival, according to authorities.

According to police, he was carrying a fake pistol with a huge blade that folded out of it like a pocket knife, which they shared a picture of.

The district attorney’s office in Los Angeles found that he had committed no crimes and submitted the matter to the city attorney’s office, which prosecuted him with the four misdemeanors.
