Neil Patrick Harris is best known for his role as Barney in the hit tv series How I Met Your Mother. Despite his character’s womanizing ways, the actor himself is actually a proud gay man who married his long-time partner, David Burtka, in 2014. During an interview with People magazine, Harris spoke about his coming out journey and said, “I am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest.” We’re proud of him too!

Kal Penn

Kal Penn portrayed Kutner in the intensely popular medical drama House. Unfortunately, Penn’s character didn’t have the best end in this tv series. Still, the actor was pursuing an awesome opportunity as the Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs! While pursuing that opportunity, he also found the love of his life, Josh. The two met in 2010, a year after Penn left House, and got engaged in 2022!

Eugene Lee Yang is a member of the Youtube group The Try Guys. This group got their start on Buzzfeed before separating to become their own company. You may not recognize Lauren Morelli’s face as easily as the other celebs on this list, but that’s because she’s a behind-the-scenes star. Orlando Cruz

Orlando Cruz publically came out as gay in 2012 while still working as an active featherweight boxer. He was the first boxer to come out while still involved in the profession publically.
