Dennis Quaid and Laura Savoie have been defying public opinion since they began their relationship with a 39 year age gap. Quaid made headlines when he proposed to then-26-year-old PhD student, Laura Savoie during a press trip in Hawaii after merely 4 months of dating. Quaid recounted: “She was taking a selfie of us, and I put the ring in front and said, ‘Will you marry me?’ and then she fell down”. The couple tied the knot in June 2020 at a seaside resort in Santa Barbara.
