Who couldn’t recognize the leading lady from the critically acclaimed Star Wars franchise? Carrie Fisher played Princess Lea, and fans will easily recognize the outfit she’s wearing in this picture. During the classic Jabba the Hut scene, Fisher wore this gold, metallic-looking bikini, and we love this behind-the-scenes picture of her and her stunt double chilling in the sun. It looks like they were having a great time during the filming of this scene, and we can only hope that the rest of their off-camera moments were filled with as much joy as this one was.

Chandler Riggs

Chandler Riggs played Carl Grimes on the AMC horror-drama The Walking Dead. His performance on the show was beyond impressive, and we’re not at all surprised to learn that his stunt double was equally impressive. However, you might be surprised to learn that his stunt double is Emily Brobst! She’s an actress who has also doubled in the world of stunts, and she did an amazing job standing in for Riggs. She’s mostly played in action and horror movies, including Vampires Suck and Annabelle Comes Home. Her experience as an actress in front of the camera gives her an edge on other stunt doubles, and helps her create a realistic and memorable portrayal of Rigg’s characters during action scenes.

Malin Akerman

Malin Akerman is a Swedish and American actress known for her roles in Watchman and Couples Retreat. She recently spent some time filming ett sista race, which means “The Final Race.” During filming, she posted this side-by-side photo of her and her stunt person and said that she was “seeing double.” We have to admit that these two look eerily similar. Between their matching outfits, identical hairstyles, and similar build, it’s hard to imagine that they aren’t related. Can you identify the real Malin Akerman?

Arnold Schwarzenegger

The man of muscles with a voice unlike any other, fans might not expect Arnold Schwarzenegger to have used stunt doubles, but this photo proves he did! This picture was taken on the set of Commando and showed Arnold standing beside another heavily muscled man, Peter Kent. It’s somewhat surprising that the production team was able to find someone with as intense of a build as Arnold to fill in as his stunt double, but fans are probably glad that they did! Now there’s something to watch out for the next time you rewatch some of Arnold’s classics.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson

This photograph of Aaron Taylor-Johnson and his stunt double was captured on May 8th. He and his stunt man were in London for the filming of the upcoming Marvel superhero movie Kraven the Hunter. He’s the leading man of the film, but his stunt double easily matches him in their dark pants and white button-up shirts. It’s actually a bit startling just how similar these two look. Their hair is even flowing in the wind in exactly the same way! We call this a massive win for the production team, although it’s probably a little eerie for Taylor-Johnson to interact with his doppelganger during filming.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to any fans of the critically acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones that all the leading cast members needed stunt doubles while on set. This show became a massive media sensation, capturing the hearts and minds of audiences all around the world with its fantastical world, intriguing plots, and complex characters. While many still debate the ending of the series, there’s no debating how similar these stunt doubles look to the leading actors! They managed to stand-in for the leading cast flawlessly, which helped lead to one of the most talked about shows of the last few decades.

Natasha Lyonne

Natasha Lyonne, star of the American comedy/drama series Russian Doll is a gorgeous woman with a unique appearance that you wouldn’t expect to be so easily duplicated. Yet, here is the proof that for every person, there is a doppelganger out in the world… or two! As if the series weren’t sketchy enough by itself, seeing this photo of Lyonne standing side by side with not one, but two identical-looking stunt doubles is a little mind-blowing. We can’t imagine how it must feel to be Lyonne and work alongside people who are the spitting image of yourself.

Who could forget the iconic Wonder Woman series from the ’70s? This action-packed series was one of the first superhero movies with a female lead, and its significance in the entertainment industry has been touted for decades. Lynda Carter starred as the leading lady in these films, but she couldn’t have made those intense, action-packed sequences work without the help of her amazing stunt double, Jeannie Epper. Of course, another woman has taken on the role of Wonder Woman these days, and she has her own stunt double, but we have to give props to the original girl with the golden lasso.

Tom Holland

You’re woefully out of touch with pop culture if you don’t recognize Tom Holland as The Amazing Spider-Man! The new Spider-Man series has been a sensational hit, and the young actor has done an exemplary job taking on this role and making it his own. As he states in this Instagram post, he couldn’t have made the magic happen without the assistance of his two wonderful stunt doubles. It sounds like they got up to quite a few incidents during filming, but they’re clearly laughing about it all by the end of the day. It’s wonderful to see actors and their stunt doubles having such a great time while filming our favorite movies!

Do you remember the critically acclaimed 2012 drama film Beasts of the Southern Wild? Quvenzhane Wallis starred as the precocious kid Hushpuppy, and it was this role that launched her career as an actress. She was nominated for the Academy Award for this role, and she’s, to date, the youngest person to have ever been nominated in that category. During filming, Wallis palled around with her stunt double, and we got this awesome behind-the-scenes photo. Do you notice something a little odd? You should because Wallis’s stunt double was significantly older than her! Working alongside this woman must have been like glimpsing into the future for the young star.

Australian actress Isla Fisher is known for a lot of things: her roles in high-profile films like Wedding Crashers, her dynamic acting range, and her striking red hair! The actress has had stunt doubles on several productions, but in on particular instance, she had two body doubles to help out. Back in 2021, Fisher celebrated National Redhead Day by posting this photo on Instagram, which shows her with her two stunning stunt people. She captioned the photo, saying, “Happy National Redhead Day from me and my two sisters.”

Most people will easily recognize Michael J. Fox in this photo as he wears his classic Marty McFly attire. A massive wave of action-packed dramas, mysteries, and thrillers hit the movie scene in the early 2000s. Among some of the more popular franchises, like Mission Impossible: II and The Dark Knight, were smaller scale series that developed massive fanbases, such as the Kill Bill series. Uma Thruman played The Bride in this series, and her impressive performance skyrocketed her to fame and bigger roles. During filming, Thurman and her stunt double would often sit on their breaks and chat. This photo was captured during one of those moments, and it’s astonishing to see how similar the two look!

Starring in the intensely popular remake of the classic Jumanji movie, Jumanji: The Next Level, Awkwafina had nothing but praise for her talented stunt double. Like many of the other actors and actresses on this list, Awkwafina gave her stunt double a serious shout-out on social media for always being there when needed. She posted this photo to herself and her double, Lee Chelsey, on her account and thanked her double for “making me look way cooler than I am, being a total inspirational badass, and making sure the crotch harness was adequately fit.” She also called Chelsey the “real hero” on the set.

Ruffalo is an extremely talented man whose dynamic acting skills helped bring this green character to life. Throughout the Incredible Hulk and Avengers films, Ruffalo always had his stunt double by his side. We have to admit that the production team couldn’t have found a better body double than Anthony Molinari! These two could easily be mistaken for brothers, or even twins! The amazing casting is one of the reasons the Marvel movies have been so wildly successful over the years.

Candace Cameron Bure has come a long way from her time as the oldest sister in the hit American sitcom Full House. While she reprised her role as DJ Tanner in the sequel Fuller House, Bure has also spent quite a bit of time building her acting credits by starring in various Hallmark movies. On the set of one of her latest Hallmark movies, she took this picture with her and her stunt double arm-in-arm and mentioned how strange it was to work with someone whose features so closely mirrored her own. Candance stated that she was “seeing double” while on the set, and we’re definitely seeing double just looking at this picture!

Johnny Depp

The man of legend, mystery, and a billion fangirls’ dreams, Johnny Depp, has an extensive track record for starring in high-profile films. He’s probably most well known for his portrayal of Captain Jack in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, but he’s also starred in major productions like Edward Scissorhands and Alice in Wonderland. His acting prowess and stunning good looks are second to none… except perhaps for his stunt double! Who would have thought that there was another person out there walking around with Johnny Depp’s face. Hopefully, Amber Heard never runs into Depp’s stunt double and mistakes the man for her ex-lover.

She was highly praised for her role in The Office , and fans absolutely adore her on The Mindy Project. You might not expect a stunt double to be needed on the set of a comedy, but things still happen, and stand-ins are occasionally required. Kaling posted this photo of herself and her body double, Donisha Walker, on Twitter. She wished her pal a happy birthday and gave fans a fun little glimpse into the behind-the-scenes workings of The Mindy Project.

Tom Hiddleston

We talked about the God of Thunder and his epic stunt double earlier on, and now it’s time to give some love to his little brother, Loki. Playing one of the most popular villains in the Marvel Universe is Tom Hiddleston. Just like Chris Hemsworth, Hiddleston does an excellent job of capturing the complexity of his character’s past and present and portraying him in a way that’s still relatable for audiences. Of course, Loki gets up to a ton of shenanigans throughout the films, so it makes sense that the actor portraying him would need a stunt double or two! The men in this photo look very similar to Hiddleston, and it appears they had a great time on set together!

Halle Berry

Whether you know her from her earlier projects like Catwoman or her more recent roles like Moonfall, Halle Berry has one of those faces that are instantly recognizable. Berry recently starred in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, and she worked incredibly hard to get into the right shape for that role. Her stunt double, Anisha Gibbs, spoke to People Magazine in May 2019 about the movie and shared some awesome insight into the star. Halle’s work ethic is absolutely incredible and I admire her so much. Halle loves the craft as much as I do, which made training that much more intense, and her work ethic, drive and determination were impeccable,” she said. We can really feel the love!

Who remembers the epic DC film The Dark Knight Rises from 2012? This film was one of the greatest of all Batman movies ever produced, and it received serious critical acclaim and praise from fans. Tom Hardy played the main villain in the movie, Bane. Most notably, he wore a mask that altered his voice significantly, and it became a signature aspect of his character for the duration of the movie. Hardy’s stunt double does an excellent job of capturing the actor’s essence and he did an amazing job as his stand-in throughout the movie.

Perhaps you recognize her from her roles in Wild or Your Place or Mine, but this photo was captured on the set of her HBO series Big Little Lies. Witherspoon took to Instagram to introduce her followers and fans to her body double, Marilee Lessley, for the first time. Their resemblance is absolutely uncanny! Who doesn’t love Brad Pitt and his massively popular films. Known for his roles in critically acclaimed high profile films, such as Fight Club, Troy, and Babylon, Brad Pitt has established himself as a prominent actor with an impressive range of skills. Standing by his side throughout his spectacular career has been his body double. This man has aided Pitt in various roles throughout his career, and somehow, they continue to look nearly identical. Aside from a minor difference in height, these two could easily be mistaken for being the same person.

Jared Padalecki

Known for his role on the long-running CW drama Supernatural, Jared Padalecki is well known for enjoying a prank or two on set. This actor played Sam Winchester, one part of the dynamic demon-hunting duo that made the series a cult classic and popular enough to sustain itself for 15 incredible seasons. Padalecki’s stunt double, Mike Carpenter, supported the actor throughout the series and did an incredible job of standing in for the actor whenever a new supernatural creature needed to toss him around. Padalecki posted this photo on Twitter to say thanks and also poke a little fun at Carpenter. It wouldn’t be Padalecki if he didn’t throw in a joke or two!
