They say everyone has a doppelganger out in the world somewhere. Your body double could be living their life on the opposite side of the world, and you’d never even know that someone else was walking around wearing your face! Now, that may sound pretty creepy, but it’s actually a good thing for the entertainment industry. Stunt doubles have been filling in for actors during particularly dangerous or action-packed scenes since the film industry first began. It’s one of the nuances of the entertainment business that makes it seem so mysterious and fascinating. A combination of lookalikes, excellent editing, and tactile camera work makes it appear as though the actor you know and love is the one jumping off of rooftops and sprinting through burning buildings. Of course, some actors choose to do their own stunts (we’re looking at you, Tom Cruise!), but most let their stunt double handle the more physically dangerous scenes. It’s hard not to assume you’re looking at a set of twins when you see this photo! Jason Momoa has played in a ton of high-profile films, including Aquaman and Fast X. This photo was taken on the set of Fast X and shows an impressive side-by-side of Momoa and his stunt double. Momoa posted this picture on Instagram to shout out his stunt team, and we have to admit, they’re doing an amazing job! It’s hard to believe that the men in this picture aren’t even the slightest bit related. With the same build, facial features, and hairstyle, they could truly be mistaken for brothers.
