1. Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson
Goldie’s won an Oscar for her role in Cactus Flower. Down the road, Goldie married Bill Hudson in July 1976 and her famous daughter Kate Hudson was born in 1979.
Kate later got into her own acting prowess with the box-office hit Bride Wars in 2009.
2. Melanie Griffith and Dakota Johnson
The funny thing is she got a role as an extra in The Harrad Experiment featuring her mom, Tippi Hedren, and co-star Don Johnson. Johnson married Melanie when she was 18, and had Dakota Johnson in 1989.
Johnson major debut was in 2010 with the hit movie, “The Social Network.”
3. Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher
From Reynolds winning a beauty contest and gaining experience dancing at the MGM, she eventually became a dance partner for Gene Kelly in “Singin’ In the Rain.” Debbie married singer Eddie Fisher in 1955, and had Carrie Fisher in 1956.
Carrie gained major fame as Princess Princess Leia in Star Wars. May the late and great, Carrie Fisher RIP.
4. Eve Pollard and Claudia Winkleman
Eve Pollard OBE is known as ‘The first Lady of Fleet Street’ and was one of the first female editors of a national newspaper in the UK.
It’s only right that her daughter, Claudia, carved her own destiny with her presenting job for Comes Dancing It Takes Two in 2014. Additionally, she hosted the Great British Sewing Bee.
5. Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith
She had her first role in the hit NBC series, A Different World in 1987. What really catapulted her into stardom is being a co-star to Eddie Murphy in “The Nutty Professor.” Around this time she had a relationship with rapper and actor, Will Smith.
They married in 1997 and had their daughter Willow in 2000. She’s been in a few movies, but really got recognition for her big 2010 single, “Whip My Hair.”
