5 Easter Eggs You Didn’t Catch in Quentin Tarantino Films

Ben - July 1, 2022

It’s always fun to rewatch something to catch the small details. Movies usually have little easter eggs that either tie in the story or other films. Here are 5 easter eggs you may not have recognized in these Quentin Tarantino films.

Bride Is Right on Time

In Kill Bill, O-Ren Ishii claims that in Beatrix Kiddo’s weakened condition she wouldn’t last 5 minutes. Funny enough, Kiddo actually takes out Ishii with a Hattori Hanzo sword in literally 4 minutes and 59 seconds.

Siblings in Suits

Quentin Tarantino is a stickler for continuity even when it comes to “brothers” in different roles. For example, you have Vic Vega from “Reservoir Dogs” and Vincent Vega from “Pulp Fiction”, who are both brothers that are suited and booted.

Nick Fury x Pulp Fiction

When Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson) ‘dies’ in Captain America: Winter Soldier, the tombstone has a quote on it that reads “The path of the righteous man: Ezekiel 25:17.” This is a direct reference when Jackson’s character in Pulp Fiction makes a speech using a rewrote Bible verse.

A Blast from the Past

In Django Unchained, the Italian star Franco Nero makes an appearance when he was in the original Django in 1966. It’s very slick that he threads things together as a Mandingo owner while he shares some dialogue with Django (Jamie Foxx) in the recent one.

Sheriff Gets Around

Sheriff Earl McGraw gets around a bit as he’s featured in the following films: “Kill Bill”, “Death Proof”, and “Planet Terror.”
